By accessing this website (“Site”) or engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part, please discontinue use immediately.

All content, designs, and illustrations on this site are protected under copyright.
No reproduction, modification, distribution, or commercial use is permitted without prior written consent from Merreve.
3. Service Overview
Merreve offers custom wedding invitation design and illustration services, conducted primarily through Instagram (@merrevehk) or WhatsApp. This Site also functions as an online store for ready-made products and related wedding stationery accessories.
4. Order Process & Communication

Custom Services: All custom orders (including wedding invitations and related illustrated products) require full payment in advance to secure the production slot. Orders are confirmed only upon receipt of payment and mutual agreement on design details via Instagram/WhatsApp.

Production Timeline: The design-to-production process for custom orders typically takes approximately 1 month. We strongly recommend contacting us to confirm availability at least 3–6 months before your desired delivery date.

Ready-made Products: Ready-made items can be purchased directly on the Site, subject to stock availability.
5. Pricing & Payment

Prices are in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD) and subject to change.

We accept Credit Card (via Shopify Payments), PayMe, and FPS.

For custom services: Full payment is required before design work begins.

For ready-made products: Full payment is required at checkout.
6. Shipping & Delivery

Ready-made Products are typically dispatched within 5 to 14 working days after order confirmation, subject to stock availability.

Hong Kong: Shipped via SF Express. Free shipping on orders over HKD 500; a flat rate of HKD 30 applies for orders below HKD 500.

Macau / Taiwan / Mainland China: Shipped via SF Express, Pay-on-Delivery (到付).

Other Countries/Regions: Shipped via Hong Kong Post. Shipping costs and arrangements must be confirmed before order placement.

Delivery times are estimates only. Merreve is not liable for delays caused by couriers or customs.
7. Design & Revision Policy (For Custom Orders)

Illustrations: Limited to 2 minor revisions—one during sketch phase and one after coloring. Major modifications or posture changes are not permitted.

Art Style: Our style is non-realistic, focusing on posture and charm. 100% likeness is not guaranteed. Please confirm your preference for this style before ordering.

Invitation Text & Map: Limited to 2 minor revisions.

Proofreading: Clients are responsible for verifying all text and details before final confirmation. Merreve is not liable for errors after manuscript approval.

Color Variance: Due to differences between RGB (screen) and CMYK (print) color systems, printed outputs may vary from on-screen displays.
8. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

Copyright: The copyright of all artwork remains with Merreve. The artist retains the right to display the work unless the client requests non-disclosure in advance.

Usage License: Clients receive a personal-use license for their custom design (e.g., wedding invitations). Commercial use, resale, or reproduction for profit is strictly prohibited.

Third-party Production: If clients provide the design to a third-party producer, they must ensure proper credit is displayed: “Design and Illustration: Merreve” and tag @merrevehk if shared on Instagram.
9. Return & Refund Policy

Custom Orders: Due to their personalized nature, no refunds, cancellations, or exchanges are accepted once payment is made and production begins.

Ready-made Products: Please refer to our separate Return & Refund Policy for damaged or defective items only.
10. Limitation of Liability
Merreve shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from service delays, production variations, or third-party actions.
11. Dispute Resolution
Merreve reserves the right to make final decisions regarding any disputes. These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR, with exclusive jurisdiction in Hong Kong courts.
12. Policy Updates
Merreve may update these Terms at its discretion without prior notice. Continued use of the Site or services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
